It’s nearly 2 AM and I just got home after a nearly four hour drive from Santa Barbara that should have taken 90 minutes. Why they would choose to do construction on the 101 on the Sunday night of graduation weekend is beyond me. I finally exited the gridlock and drove 15 miles west to Pacific Coast Highway where I drove along the ocean in the darkness with the light of the moon bouncing off the waves. It was so much more peaceful than the 101…and I reflected on a wonderful weekend with good friends. We had an amazing picnic tonight at the beach as the sun set. I’ll post pictures tomorrow. For now, congratulations Dr. Eva Oxelson.
