My 4th trip to the airport in as many days. This was taken in the new Viewing Lounge at the Santa Barbara airport at 1 AM. Very peaceful.

After a quick visit with Carolina last night, we headed out for a quick 2 hour tour of Hollywood and Beverly Hills before heading back to the airport once again to bid adieu to Bine & Angie and welcome Rob back home from the Philippines after a 2 month unplanned hiatus. My decision to “make a statement” by wearing this sweatshirt on my flight to Salt Lake for the Sundance Film Festival, may not have been the best choice! The TSA made it VERY difficult for me; going through every single item in my luggage with a fine tooth comb. Supervisors were called and through it all I remained calm. It didn’t help that other travelers were taking pictures of me, as I seemed to be causing quite a scene. It was a hit on the plane though! Oh, and the guy behind me on the plane, vomited. It was really bad. Thank goodness it was only an hour flight. Sundance tomorrow!

I dropped Mike off at LAX for his 6:30 flight, and the airport was surprisingly uncrowded. He said security was uneventful. The President must have read my email! I snapped all of these photos while driving. Another pretty L.A. day!
